Here's a site I've been a member of for a while, Texas3006.com It's a very convenient place to go check before you head out for shopping, dining and movie or whatever. A quick search will indicate if a place of business might be a "gun-free zone" before you go. It includes a Wall of Shame for businesses in Texas with multiple no-go locations. Break out those "No Guns equals No Money" cards if you've got 'em and submit new locations when you see 'em.
